Low Yung Ling

Sessional Registered Psychologist

Yung Ling has more than a decade of experience in the psychology field and is often a forerunner in her specialisation. Besides being one of the pioneer psychologists assessing children with difficulties in learning when the DAS first established its Assessment Service in 2002, Yung Ling has worked in public hospitals dealing with clients with neuropsychological conditions. As a trained Clinical Neuropsychologist who holds a Masters of Clinical Neuropsychology, Yung Ling enjoys working with individuals across the life span and has conducted more than a thousand diagnostic psychological assessments for a variety of conditions including, but not limited to neurodevelopmental disorders, acquired brain injury and dementia. In addition to conducting assessments, Yung Ling is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences as well as increasing public awareness about specific learning differences, and psychology in general. She does this through her role as an Adjunct Lecturer at the DAS Academy, often conducting lectures on topics such as psychological assessment of dyslexia and intelligence testing.
