Michelle Mah

As a mindfulness and mental wellbeing practitioner and qualifying counsellor, Michelle has studied and trained with the world’s most heavily researched wellbeing programmes and teachers including: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) under UC San Diego School of Medicine with Dr. Steven Hickman and Jon Kabat-Zinn, Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI), first developed at Google with Tan Chade-Meng, and the Centre of Mindful Self-Compassion with renowned researchers Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer.

As a dynamic and versatile professional, her current experience also includes delivering wellbeing programmes for the Associate Faculty of Singapore Management University under the Mindfulness Initiative, as well as offering the CC005 “Healthy Living & Wellbeing” module at Nanyang Technological University from Aug 2024, a compulsory module for all undergraduates to enhance holistic wellbeing. Recognising the need to support the under-served parenting community in Singapore, Michelle also holds a Psychotherapy Certification in Perinatal Mental Health, awarded by Postpartum Support International, the gold standard of maternal mental health and currently helps adults and parents undergoing life transitions in her counselling sessions.
