About DAS Academy

The DAS Academy is a Private Education Institution (PEI) registered with the Council for Private Education (CPE). Formerly the training arm of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), DAS Academy was officially incorporated on 19 February 2010 as we expanded our training services to better serve the community. Our training courses empower stakeholders, often educators, allied professionals and caregivers with knowledge and skills, as they journey with children with dyslexia and other Specific Learning Differences. DAS Academy is a key contributor to the development of the disability sector’s learning ecosystem.
Being the official training provider for the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), that has 30 years of expertise in dyslexia and SpLDs. Be part of an extensive and supportive network of support partners, including educational therapists, psychologists, and speech and language therapists.
Having established a strong professional standing in this field, DAS Academy counts local government bodies and higher learning institutes as her partners. Our esteemed partners include Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore, National Council of Social Services (NCSS), Singapore University of Social Sciences and University of South Wales (UK).

Our Strategy
DAS Academy is positioned as a thought leader in the field of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Singapore and the region through the provision of high-quality, practical and research-based teachings.
DAS Academy invests heavily in staff professional development and prides herself on a team of well qualified lecturer-practitioners who make theories come alive. With the expertise of the team, DAS Academy develops and contextualizes SEN practices that are highly relevant to our Asian educational context. DAS Academy is also on the forefront of SEN research in Singapore, providing research advice and consultancy to DAS and other Social Services Agencies.
