Dr June Siew is an adult educator and leader in the field of inclusive education. As Head of DAS Academy, she works closely with educators and parents to design learning environments that support the success of every child.
A pioneer in advocating inclusive practices within mainstream schools, Dr Siew has played a pivotal role in building the capacity of inclusive educators since 2005. Her work has contributed significantly to strengthening inclusive practices across the mainstream education system.
Dr Siew is a regular speaker and trainer at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Ministry of Education (MOE) schools, and at both local and international conferences. Under her leadership, DAS Academy has been recognised as a domain expert within the special needs education landscape.
Dr Siew holds a Doctor of Education, jointly awarded by University College London and Nanyang Technological University, and is a Fellow of the Register of Educational Therapists (Asia).
She strongly believes that meaningful family and community partnerships are central to every child’s success and continues to work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that all learners can thrive.
