Refund Policy
Refund for Workshops and Certificate Courses
- ALL payments (including co-payments) are non-refundable.
- If a participant is not able to attend the course, he/she has to notify DAS Academy at least two (2) weeks before the commencement of the course.
- He/she will then be able to do a one-time replacement for another course. If the replacement course fee is higher than the initial payment, participants are required to top-up the difference. If the replacement course fee is lower than the initial payment, there will be no refund of the difference.
- The replacement course must occur within 12 months from the commencement date of the initially registered course.
- A full refund will only be given if the cancellation of the course is initiated by DAS Academy.
Refund for Specialist Diploma and Master of Arts Programmes
- The Application Fee and Processing Fee (for Recognition of Prior Learning) are all non-refundable.
- For Refund for Withdrawal, DAS Academy adopts the Refund Policy as per the standard Student Contract as set out by CPE. This policy will act as a framework in guiding the implementation of detailed refund processes and procedures in the following areas:
Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course
DAS Academy will notify the Student within three (3) working days upon knowledge of any of the following:
- It cannot commence the provision of the Course on the Course Commencement Date;
- It cannot complete the provision of the Course by the Course Completion Date;
- The Course will be terminated before the Course Completion Date;
- The Student does not meet the course entry or matriculation requirements as stated in Schedule A; or
- The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (the “ICA”) rejects the Student’s application for the Student Pass.
Refund for Withdrawal During the Cooling-Off Period
- During the Cooling-Off Period of ten (10) calendar working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties:
- Notwithstanding anything herein contained, the Student shall be entitled to, without any liability whatsoever to the DAS Academy, forthwith terminate the Contract at any time within the Cooling-Off Period by way of a written notice to the DAS Academy. The DAS Academy shall return all Course Fees and Miscellaneous Fees paid to it within seven (7) working days of the receipt of the written notice.
Refund for Withdrawal Outside the Cooling-Off Period
Without prejudice to Clauses 3.1 to 3.8 of the Student Contract, the Student may terminate the Contract at any time before the Course Completion Date by providing a written notice to the DAS Academy. Upon receipt of such notice, the DAS Academy shall within seven (7) working days, refund to the Student such amount (if any) as determined in accordance with Schedule D.
As a guide of reference for Refund for Withdrawal, the following presents the Refund Table in Schedule D of the Standard Student Contract.

Fee Payment
Self-Sponsored participants (Workshops and Certificate Courses)
- For all online registrations via the Online Application Form (OAF): Full payment to be made via Paypal upon registration.
- For in-person/offline registrations: Full payment should be made upon registration. Participants will only be allowed to attend the course only upon making the full payment.
- For in-person/offline registration, NETS/VISA/MASTERCARD/PAYNOW/Fund Transfer and Cheque payments are accepted.
- Cheques must be made payable to ‘DAS Academy Ltd’. Note that confirmation of registration is only done upon clearance of the cheque.
- All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Sponsored Participants (Workshops and Certificate Courses)
- Sponsored participants must submit a sponsorship form together with their online registration here
- DAS Academy will invoice the sponsoring organisation and payment must be made within 2 weeks from the date of invoice or earlier or earlier depending on the commencement date of the course. Participants will only be allowed to attend the course upon receipt of full payment.
- Cheques must be made payable to ‘DAS Academy Ltd’.
- All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Registration is confirmed only when full payment has been received.
For CTG applicants (Workshops)
- CTG Applications should be submitted together with the co-payment fee upon registration online.
- For in-person/offline registrations: Full payment via PAYNOW, Fund Transfer or NETS should be made upon registration
- All co-payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Registration is confirmed only when full payment has been received.
For VCF applicants (Certificate Courses)
- VCF Approval Letter must be emailed to info@dasacademy.edu.sg as soon as the applicant receives it from NCSS.
- Full payment from VWOs must be received within 7 days from the date of invoice sent by DAS Academy and must be before the course commencement date.
- Registration is confirmed only when full payment has been received.
For Specialist Diploma & MA SEN students
- For online registration via Online Application Form (OAF): Application fee/Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) fee to be made via Paypal.
- Upon confirmation, the first instalment payment must be made at least 1 month prior to the commencement date of the first module.
No Shows
There will be STRICTLY no refunds for a no-show.
Re-Issuance of Certificates or Letter of Attendance
REPLACEMENT OF LETTER OF ATTENDANCE (FOR WORKSHOPS)
- There will be a replacement fee of $10.80 (incl. GST) per letter of attendance for students who have lost or damaged their original letter of attendance.
REPLACEMENT OF TRANSCRIPTS
- There will be a replacement fee of $10.80 (incl. GST) per transcript for students who have lost or damaged their original transcript.
* For students requesting for replacement of transcripts for the MA SEN/ALN, kindly contact the University directly.
REPLACEMENT OF CERTIFICATES FOR STAND-ALONE COURSES AND SPECIALIST DIPLOMA
- There will be a replacement fee of $21.60 (incl. GST) per stand-alone course certificate for students who have lost or damaged their original certificates.
- There will be a replacement fee of $54 (incl. GST) per Specialist Diploma certificate for students who have lost or damaged their original certificates.
REPLACEMENT OF CERTIFICATES SHOULD ONLY BE ALLOWED BASED ON 2 STRICT CONDITIONS:
- Certificates will only be replaced if the original is lost/stolen (supported with a police report) or damaged (student to bring damaged original to exchange).
- Students will have to come personally to produce required documents and make payment before the reprinting of the certificate is processed.
*For students requesting for replacement of certificates for the MA SEN/ALN, kindly contact the University directly.
** Notes on Issuance of Letter of Certification:
- No letter of certification will be given to students who have lost or damaged their certificates.
- Letter of Certification is only issued to graduating students who have successfully completed their studies and are awaiting to receive the award at the Graduation Ceremony.
- Letter of Certification is only issued to graduating students upon request.
Printing of Certificates
Hardcopy certificates will only be issued upon request. Please write to student.services@dasacademy.edu.sg to make a request.

Personal Data Protection
DAS Academy seeks to collect and may use and/or disclose your personal data for matters relating to your course enrolment in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. This may include disclosure of your full name and email address to any third party who operates a Third Party Application to facilitate your participation in any online course hosted or delivered through such Third Party Application. This may also include disclosure of your company name and job position to third party agents such as DAS Academy trainers to facilitate their contextualisation of course contents and/or facilitate the delivery of DAS Academy courses at the appropriate difficulty level. DAS Academy may from time to time use your personal data to inform you of related news, activities, services and events, where you have consented to receive such information. DAS Academy may also use your personal data for the conduct of statistical research and studies, and analyse the data collected to administer, develop and improve its services. For the purpose of event coverage and our records, photography and/or recording (including videography) will be in progress during the event. Please inform the photographers (or organiser) if you do not wish for your photographs or recordings to be taken. Some online courses may be recorded and shared with participants of the course, and you hereby consent to such recordings and use and sharing by DAS Academy.
By enrolling in a course and/or participating in any events or activities organised by DAS Academy (including any purchases of goods and services from the DAS Academy), you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with DAS Group Privacy and Data Protection Policy

Terms of Service
DAS Academy reserves the right to change the above terms and conditions without notice.
DAS Academy will exercise all possible care to run the confirmed courses, however, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, DAS Academy reserves the right to cancel or defer the courses, and/or change venue, speaker, course dates, fees and method of delivery. DAS Academy will take all reasonable efforts to notify participants of changes, should they happen.
