DAS Academy now provides consultation services to support organisations and practitioners in enhancing their skill sets as educators to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our consultation services can centre on any topic related to teaching and learning, including sharing of resources, exploring evidence-based strategies and developing suitable programmes for SEN learners. We offer individual, small group and departmental consultations designed to meet your needs.
Consultations can revolve around several core needs:
• Programme development
• Individualised education plans (IEPs)
• Support for lesson planning and delivery
• Lesson observations including post-observation discussions
• General case management
Through individualised consultation services, participants can build on their capacity in supporting learners with SEN. Participants will have the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge and more personal theory-to-practice learning experience as they will be supported by an assigned supervisor in the process of planning an IEP, planning and delivery of lessons and general case management discussion. The consultations can also serve as a platform for developing a programme suitable for SEN learners or reshaping an existing programme to better meet the needs of current learners.
