DAS Academy is a registered Private Education Institution (PEI) under Singapore’s Committee for Private Education (CPE). Since our incorporation on 19 February 2010, we have become a trusted provider of specialised training for those who journey with children who learn differently.

We empower educators, allied professionals, and caregivers through practice-based, inclusive education programmes. Our work shapes the learning ecosystem within Singapore’s disability and education sector — one learner, one classroom at a time.

DAS Academy invests heavily in staff professional development and prides itself on a team of well-qualified lecturer-practitioners who make theories come alive. With the expertise of the team, DAS Academy develops and contextualizes SEN practices that are highly relevant to our Asian educational context. DAS Academy is also at the forefront of SEN research in Singapore, providing research advice and consultancy to DAS and other Social Services Agencies.

2022 – Partnership with NCSS

Recognised as a strong domain expert in SEN, DAS Academy was appointed as a training partner by NCSS.

2013 – Academic Partnership with USW (UK)

Serving as a collaborative partner since 2013, DAS Academy was commended for quality adherence in the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) Higher Education Review in 2015.

2005–2015 – MOE Partnership

Appointed as the dyslexia training provider for the Diploma in Special Education, supporting the professional development of MOE educators.
