Educators, caregivers, and parents with children between the ages of 7 to 12 (P1 to P6)
Eligible courses are approved for the Caregivers Training Grant (CTG).
The workshop aims to enable participants to explore the process of comprehension, as well as develop strategies and instructions that will aid the learner in deciphering a long text. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the difficulties that learners with dyslexia face incomprehension and be exposed to various strategies that are effective in building comprehension skills such as vocabulary building and recognising different types of questions.
The workshop will be delivered online via live-stream on Zoom. While learning online, participants can continue to participate actively in classroom activities through live video and chat functions in zoom.
