Jae Tan

Adjunct Lecturer, Lead Psychologist (Sessional)

Jae has been working for more than two decades with children and youths in various capacities including a probation officer, a secondary school teacher and currently an Educational Psychologist. She is passionate about child development and learning and her diverse experiences allow her to take a holistic view when working with individuals. Ensuring that children receive appropriate interventions and learning strategies in order to reach their full potential is also something that Jae strongly advocates. In addition to conducting the assessment, Jae also places significant emphasis on the growth and mentorship of newer psychologists and currently plays an active role in the supervision and training of specialists and senior psychologists at the DAS. She holds a Masters in Applied Psychology (Educational Psychology) and is both a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society.
