About the Course
Why do some children participate confidently while others withdraw, avoid tasks or display challenging behaviour?
This course helps educators look beyond what they see on the surface to understand the developmental, motivational and environmental factors influencing children’s learning and behaviour. Participants will examine how classroom demands, relationships and barriers to learning can shape engagement, then explore practical ways to create more responsive and inclusive learning experiences.
Through case discussions and structured problem-solving activities, participants will develop a more thoughtful, strength-based approach to supporting children. At DAS Academy, most of our courses are delivered through a blended learning approach that combines the best of both worlds—in-person classroom sessions and online live learning. Classroom sessions provide opportunities for rich interaction, collaboration, and hands-on engagement, while online live learning offers flexibility and convenience, allowing learners to learn anywhere.
