About the Course
This course aims to equip participants with an understanding of educational psychology and its impact on parenting, teaching, and learning styles. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of educational psychology in teaching and learning, and that no single learning approach or style will fit every learner with SpLDs. This course will help participants study the cognitive processes, developmental needs, intelligence, abilities and adopt different techniques for effective teaching, as well as appreciate the link between theories and practices of teaching and learning.

DAS Academy will be delivering the course with dual-mode of learning; face-to-face or online via live-stream on Zoom. Please indicate your preferred mode of learning in the registration form. Please note that you will not be allowed to change your preference once the registration is completed.
There is only one assessment for this module – 25 Questions MCQ paper, based on the topics covered in the course. Participants are required to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the theories learnt in the course. There may be some structured MCQ questions based on a case study or scenario.
The assessment will be done at the end of the course via the Learning Management System (LMS). Participants have 40 minutes and only 1 attempt to complete the quiz.
