TARGET PARTICIPANTS
Parents, caregivers, and educators who work with children between the ages of 7 to 14 (Primary 1 to Secondary 2)

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
Is your child bright, but struggling to stay organised, focused, or motivated? Do everyday tasks like
completing homework or following routines turn into a constant battle? These challenges often
stem from underdeveloped executive function skills—not laziness, defiance, or lack of ability.

This workshop is targeted at parents who are interested in helping learners become more effective
in managing themselves. Learners with poor executive function skills tend to struggle with attention
and memory, self–regulation, organisation and time management, all of which can compromise
their performance in school and daily life.

It is important that parents appreciate these difficulties and learn not to associate the delay in
executive function skills with the child’s personality. This workshop empowers parents with practical
and relevant strategies and approaches to build key executive function skills.

In this empowering and practical workshop, we help parents understand the hidden hurdles that
affect their child’s attention, memory, self-regulation, and time management. You will gain insights
into why these struggles happen and how they can support children without blame or frustration.
